Firmware Android 8 for Nokia 8 almost ready

Holding Global HMD for two weeks is testing the firmware for its flagship smartphone Nokia 8, based on the Android OS from Google 8 Oreo. In the beta test involved over 2000 people, and it is almost completed.

The exact timing of the release of the Android 8 in final version for Nokia 8 not reported, but it is logical to assume that to drag it, the Finns will not be to beat all of its competitors: in particular, OnePlus is also actively testing the software for its three smartphones. In the coming days, will open beta test Android 8 for Nokia 3, 5 and 6, which already sold around the world, but for them, the new OS will be ready, probably, or by the end of December or mid-January of the new year.

In any case, Nokia faster compared to Samsung, which appointed the eighth release of Android already for February of 2018 for their Note 8, S8 and S8+. Itself Android 8 brings quite a lot of changes compared to the Seven, however, unlike iOS 11, in which the emphasis is on Animagi, inhibited calculator and other means of stupefying, everything here is very useful: in particular, there is a split screen and “picture in picture”, plus once again finished the stability and optimization, after which the system began to consume less memory and battery.
