Finland did not allow Russian educational four-masted barge “Krusenstern” to enter the port, the main town of the Aland Islands Mariehamn.

This decision was taken by the General staff of the defence forces of the country.

As it became known, Russia has sent an official request for permission to visit this port from 18 to 20 September. Finnish authorities rejected it.
