The military believes that the East of Ukraine can be back before the end of the year.
The commander of the Georgian Legion in the ATO Mamuka Mamulashvili has shared his opinion about the current morale of Russia and Ukraine’s chances to return the land in an interview.
“I think that by the end of 2017 will very much be felt in the weakening of Russia in the economic sense. Now we see the demotivation of the people on the front line, because they don’t want to fight anymore. I think that by the end of the year you can just return the East of Ukraine”, – said the fighter.
Now the Crimea situation is more complicated: “the Crimea will be a little difficult because Russia gave the Crimea other status. But I think that still Russia will give up and surrender and the Crimea. Now we just need to hold position, if possible, to go on the offensive and wait for the weakening of Russia. The main war is being waged in the economic sphere. I think that this war Russia has already lost,” – said Mamulashvili.
