The international football Federation announced the names of 12 professionals applying for the award of best coach in 2017.
The main contender for the award is considered the French coach of real Madrid Zinedine Zidane, under whose leadership the “Cream” became the first club in the history of the Champions League, defended the status of the winner. Also Zidane in 2017 became the champion of Spain and has led real Madrid to victories in the UEFA super Cup and the Spanish super Cup.
National Champions in the season 2016-2017 steel Massimiliano Allegri (Juventus), Carlo Ancelotti (“Bavaria”), Leonardo Jardim (Monaco) and Antonio Conte (“Chelsea”).
Coach “Manchester United” Jose Mourinho in 2017 won the Europa League and led the Red devils to victory in the Cup of the Football League.
Among the coaches of the national teams are the winner of the Confederations Cup, Joachim löw (Germany) and Titus, which early led the national team of Brazil for the world Cup 2018.
Also for the title of best coach of the year by FIFA expect Luis Enrique (ex Barcelona), Mauricio Pochettino (Tottenham), Diego Simeone (club atlético de Madrid) and Josep Guardiola (Manchester city).
The vote among the coaches and captains of national teams, media representatives and fans will be held from 21 August to 7 September. Later, FIFA will announce three finalists, and the name of the best coach of the year will be named on October 23.
