Premiere of the Ferrari Portofino received the 600-horsepower 3.8-liter twin-turbo motor, will take place in September.
The company Ferrari has officially presented supercar Portofino, called to replace in the line of the Italian automaker’s model T. California Public premiere of new items will be held in September at the Frankfurt motor show.
Car with a body “hardtop” was named part of the Italian village. Supercar built on a new chassis that was much lighter, but it was much tougher.
Ferrari Portofino equipped with the upgraded 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, which used new pistons and rods, and recalibrated electronic control unit. The engine develops 600 HP and 800 Nm of torque. Ferrari Portofino is able to accelerate from standstill to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and its maximum speed reaches 320 km per hour.
In addition, the supercar has received an upgraded exhaust system, branded rear differential E-Diff third generation and the traction control F1-Trac, which help the driver to control the slide.
Finally, the novelty became the first ever representative of the range GT, which received the electronic power steering. With the new system the gear ratio of the steering mechanism decreased by 7%.
