FBI hours was questioned at the airport in new York, Deputy of the state Duma Inga Yumashev, who arrived at the forum “Dialogue of Fort-Ross”, which will take place on 6 October. The Russian Embassy in the United States sent a protest note to the state Department.
“We consider such actions unacceptable, outrageous. We hope that us explain what this kind of assessment approaches to the Deputy of the State Duma,” — said the Russian Ambassador to the U.S. Anatoly Antonov, expressing the view that the way the US is trying to disrupt the forum “Dialogue of Fort-Ross”.
Antonov said to RIA “Novosti” that which were detained at the airport and taken to a separate room where she was waiting for the FBI. According to him, Yumasheva asked “the absolute is incomprehensible, unclear and unacceptable questions”.
“Moreover, she was asked to meet with the FBI in another informal setting, and to continue our communication,” — said Antonov.
Earlier, the U.S. Embassy in Russia has not issued visas of the Russian delegation for participation in the 74 th session of the UN General Assembly in new York. Shortly before that, the Russian delegation was not given a us visa for a conference on the Treaty on comprehensive ban of nuclear tests (CTBT).
