In an interview with Collider online popular actor Michael Fassbender spoke about his two roles in cosmogonie “Alien: Covenant.” As you know, he played the Android David, who we remember more for “Prometheus” and newer model — Walter, who first appear in the upcoming film. Fassbender was told about the differences between these characters, and what the internal change in David since, as we have seen in recent times.
Despite the coldness of David we can see his curiosity and other rudimentary emotions.
David is one of those dudes who are constantly trying to do something. It is interesting how everything works, he is inclined to creation, and we have all seen it in the Prometheus.
As Fassbender argues, in later models, all resemblance to a human character was deleted by the developers, as this only exacerbated the fears of people in relation to machines. Walter — this updated line of androids, he’s the perfect assistant and the guardian, but not the other.
In fact, Walter is very straightforward and rational synthetics. It is terribly reminiscent of Spock performed by Leonard Nimoy from “Star trek.” Meanwhile, David is more than ten years did not pass maintenance. So, I think that his human qualities, on the contrary, in some ways intensified.
Says of his characters, the actor himself. But what kind of relationship Walter has with the heroine, played by Katherine Waterston:
He is not emotionally involved. I assume that he is capable of gratitude, but actually thinks in a different way.

As in any good marriage, between them they have developed affection. It seems, in a sense, they are a bit annoying each other. In Prometheus, they had to go through a lot together.
As David refers to his twin brother Walter?
He could appreciate the statue of Michelangelo’s David or a person like Leonardo da Vinci. As for his relationship to sintetica, he probably believes that they are above the human race. In some things they are able to teach people.
Finally Fassbender told that David is brighter and more painfully manifested human traits. He is overcome pride, envy and anger. Well, thanks to some spoilers, we already know where it leads.
But we will see all this only on may 18, when “Alien: Testament” will be released in cinemas.
