On the night of 13 August, the inhabitants of the Northern hemisphere could observe the Perseid meteor shower. “The most active phase lasted from 17.00 August 12 to 5.30 on August 13. At this time, under ideal conditions in the sky could be seen falling two to three meteors per minute,” — said on the website of the International meteor organization (IMO).

The Perseids is a meteor shower, which appears annually in August from the constellation Perseus.
