The incident occurred on the match of FA Cup.

On match of the preliminary round of the FA Cup between the teams, “Hyde United” and “MK dons” lit artificial pitch. During the warm-up of the teams before the opening whistle, one of the fans threw plastic grass fire, which it caught fire.

Stadium workers were able to extinguish the fire, however, the beginning of the meeting had to be postponed for 15 minutes. The result of the victory of the “MK dons” with the score 4:0.
