After the beginning of the war in the Donbas Russians “allowed to openly hate” Ukrainians, said the Ukrainian singer Anastasia Prikhodko in an interview.
“If you look at a lot of interviews, never been open statements in relation to Ukraine. Now, when did this propaganda, built on lies, the Russians realized that they now also have the right to hate us”, she said.
Prikhodko noted that the Russians hate Ukrainians for a very long time.
“They always said that Crimea – is Russia. They could not understand that we are a separate state. They had no such experience. The worst thing is that we know their language, and they are ours – no,” – said the singer.
