Famous Ukrainian actor spoke frankly about independence

A famous actor told how independence turned his life.

Ukrainian actor Alexei Gorbunov said that the national anthem of Ukraine he learned in 53 years, standing on Maidan Nezalezhnosti in Kyiv during the revolution of dignity.

“I saw the faces of people I did not know that so many of them bright. So many young saw — I used to think that they are all morons, but it turns out, this generation, which have to go,” says the actor.

According to him, it also gave all of them the independence all were left standing when they started throwing the first grenades to disperse the protesters.

“I myself have been a shock. This is a movie that our children will be removed, frame by frame, step by step will be removed, it will be a real movie,” said Gorbunov.

In addition, he stressed that since independence, the occupation of Crimea and war in Donbas, he became the “once in 30, more nervous, more emotional”.
