The former striker of as Roma and real Madrid’s Antonio Cassano has announced the completion of a career in professional football.
Cassano before the end of his career signed a contract with Verona. Italian in recent days has repeatedly changed its decision, not yet announced retirement from football.
“After much deliberation, I decided that Antonio Cassano will no longer play football. I apologize to Verona, all the fans, the President and sporting Director of the club, coaches, medical and technical staff. At the moment my priority is to be with his children and wife”, – quotes the words of Cassano “Football Italia”.
Your way to soccer Cassano started in 1999 in his native Bari. Later, the Italian striker played at Roma, Real Madrid, Sampdoria, Milan, inter and Parma.
At club level, Cassano all tournaments played 514 matches in which he scored 141 goals and gave up 109 assists. Antonio became the champion of Italy and Spain, and twice won the Italian Supercup.
In the national team of Italy Antonio Cassano from 2003 to 2014 he played 39 matches and scored 10 goals.
