In the video the actor calls Vladimir Putin’s “sworn enemy” of the United States.
American actor Morgan Freeman starred in the video of the Committee of inquiry against Russia, in which he accuses Russia of cyber-attacks on democratic state and spreading propaganda.
“We were attacked. There is a war,” says Freeman in the beginning of the video.
It invites the audience to imagine a scenario film about how a KGB agent decided to take revenge for the collapse of their homeland and became President.
“Taking advantage of the chaos, he makes his way through the ranks of post-Soviet Russia and become President,” says Freeman, whose words are accompanied by archival footage of the confrontation between the crowd and the Riot police of the times of post-Soviet Russia.
They are replaced by the advent of Russian President Vladimir Putin, whom the actor calls “the sworn enemy” of the United States.
In the video it is alleged that Moscow wants to take revenge on Washington for the collapse of the Soviet Union.
At the end of the video, Freeman urges US President Donald trump “tell the truth” and to speak to Americans about the “Russian interference” in the elections.
“The free world needs our leadership,” concludes the actor.
