We talked about the horror with religious overtones, that’s only if the film “Song of Solomon” promises the viewer with blood and guts, the picture “Whisper of the devil” (Devil’s Whisper), claims to mysticism, and psychology, as concerns the subject of repressed childhood memories.
15-year-old Alejandro Duran, born in the family of religious Hispanics, wants to become Catholic priests. But when he finds a mysterious box, inherited from grandparents, Alejandro accidentally releases an ancient demonic spirit, eager to seize the soul of a teenager. Alejandro needs to find a way to defeat the ancient demon, tormented kids with a long time before he will destroy him and all who are dear to him.
Director and screenwriter Adam RIPP had removed a few little-known films, and among his notable works is the production of bloody action Everly. Among the co-authors of the script is Oliver Robbins, on account of which – neither more nor less – family-cult classic horror “Poltergeist.” Of the cast stands out , Rick Ravanello, starring in such films as “the Cave” (2005), “District 37” (2014) and “Dark haul” (2014).
The world premiere of “Whisper of the devil” was held on June 10 during the festival Dances With Films where the rights to the movie in the US was bought by Vega Baby Releasing. So, in the foreseeable future there will be a trailer, but for now you can check out a few shots and the festival poster.
