Facebook to mark fake news

Facebook introduced a controversial algorithm for unreliable news.

Social network Facebook has started to take action against the fake news.

Now, false news will be mark Disputed (disputed). However, while the mechanism is running only in the United States.

Label of fake news can be, if it were reported by the users themselves or if false information confirmed by the organization to check the facts. Facebook will publish links to websites that confirm the dubiousness of the published information.

A recent mechanism has already been subjected to serious criticism. So, journalists ReCode noticed that the Disputed inscription appeared under the article of the Seattle Tribune newspaper, which only publishes satirical notes, and not real news, only four days after its publication. Roughly analogous to Seattle Tribune in Ukraine is UA-Revue.
