The driver of the Mercedes, Valtteri Bottas at the Grand Prix of Abu Dhabi sealed a fourth qualifying win of the season.
The first segment with a 1:37.356 won, Bottas, and fight in full strength retired “Toro Rosso” and “Zauber”.
In the second segment, the fastest was Hamilton (1:36.742). Qualification ended Alonso, Sainz, Vandorn, Magnussen and Stroll.
In full force to fight for the pole moved “Mercedes”, “Ferrari”, “Red bull”, “Force India”, and one racer from Renault (Hulkenberg) and “Williams” (Mass).
In the final segment of qualifying, Bottas at the first attempt drove round in 1:36.231. This time was unreachable for Hamilton and the others.
