Experts are trying to explain an unusual phenomenon.
“The most expensive bacon to sell in Kiev – 105 UAH per kilogram. Cheaper in the Ternopil region – 32 UAH. The highest price for pork social in Bukovina – 114.2 per UAH, and the lowest in the Volyn region – 94,8,” – wrote in Facebook Director of the Association of retail suppliers Oleksiy Doroshenko.
Also, more expensive beef, butter and eggs.
“Beef with bone is a price leader in Kiev and the region – 127,5 hryvnia per kilogram. The cheapest in Chernihiv and Cherkasy oblasts – 97.3 USD. Butter in the ten days went up by 80 cents, eggs – almost 60 kopecks,” – said Doroshenko.
Prices on social bread, pasta, wheat flour and sunflower oil has remained stable.

“From 10 to 20 September, increased in price by 60% social, that is the most popular products. Fell on the hryvnia buckwheat. Pounds in the average price of 23.2 USD. Vegetables have also become more accessible. Onions sell cheaper than 40 cents. Carrots, potatoes and cabbage, 20 cents, ” – said Alexey Doroshenko.
