Experts have told how expensive Easter basket

This year the cost of an Easter basket for Ukrainians increased by 27%.

It became known how much it will cost for Ukrainians Easter basket this year. In particular, it is the prices, which grew by 27% compared to last year 2016.

As said General Director of Ukrainian Association of trade networks suppliers Oleksiy Doroshenko on his page in Facebook, according to the project OMPricecom, the cost of the Easter baskets in 2017 will be an average of 569 USD.

“40% of the cost of the whole basket were meat products, and another 22% is wine. Overall Easter basket rose by 27%. In 2016 it cost 449 UAH. and in 2017 already 569 UAH,” wrote Alexey Doroshenko.

According to him, the list of products for the holiday feast includes: 1kg homemade of pork and sausage, two bottles of wine “Cahors” Ukrainian and Moldavian production. Also cake weighing half a kilo, 200 grams butter, cheese – 500 gr., hell 250 gr., pounds of salt, a dozen eggs and a pack of Church candles.

Mr. Doroshenko noted that the cost was calculated according to one of the large retail chains.
