Ukrainian drivers explained the most scandalous innovations.
On Friday at a Cabinet meeting at the initiative of Arsen Avakov was supported by a number of important innovations that should significantly improve road safety. However, immediately began to be heard “cannon” accusations and criticism of some of the innovations these myths and want to stop.
Myth 1: Now for the missing driver’s license to be fine, exceeding 3 times the minimum wage – 10 200 UAH.
Reality: the Fine imposed on a person who HAS no RIGHT of management or deprived of the right to drive the vehicle. That is, if a citizen who has not passed the school and earned the right to drive, decided to get behind the wheel — will be responsible at the same time forgotten at home driving licence is only 425 UAH fine.
Myth 2: Everyone will have to travel no more than 50 km/h.
Reality: In the case of adoption of appropriate legislative initiatives such restriction will be the base for cities, at the same time, for separate road arteries (large four-row avenues, and the like) can be increased limitations, but for the streets, rich schools, pedestrian crossings, reduced. Also do not forget about the threshold of tolerance of excessive speed, today it is up to 20 km/h. And even in the case of lowering the threshold of tolerance of up to 10 km/h can move at speeds up to 60 km/h (50+10).
Myth 3: Police incorrectly prepares administerial, and the courts refuse to consider them.
Reality: the Statistics instead of words. More than 500 drunk drivers (potential murderers) is not held responsible, because to them, the courts applied norms of article 21 and 22 of the administrative code, “transfer of materials about administrative offenses for consideration of public organization or labor collective” and “release of liability for minor violations.”
These articles propose to prohibit the use concerning drivers driving a vehicle while intoxicated, and the term of consideration administerial to increase up to 1 year (to the courts clearly have enough time for their consideration).
