Cooking Easter has risen at least 14%.
The cost of baking Easter at home according to a traditional recipe rose, at least, almost 14% compared to last year.
This was stated by the expert of the Economic discussion club Oleg Pendzin.
“According to our calculations, the cost of baking Easter at home following a traditional recipe in the March. price will be about 34 UAH per product weight 0.7 kg. that is, compared to Easter, the cost of preparing the cake rose almost 14%,” – said the expert.
According to him, the rising cost of baking was primarily due to the price increase compared to April 2016 the basic ingredients: flour – 9%, eggs – 26%, milk and butter – a third (33% -34%), sugar – by 13% .
At the same time Pendzin noted that due to the increase in supply this year, the raisins fell relative to last year’s period by 40%.
The expert has noticed that in April it is highly likely more expensive eggs.
