According to state statistics, in Ukraine the amount of subsidies to population for payment of housing and communal services increased.
The amount of the subsidy for payment of utility services increased from January to April by 27.2% and amounted to 730,7 mln. This is evidenced by the state service statistics.
It 199,3 mln UAH more than for the same period of 2018.
The average size of subsidy per household in April increased compared to the corresponding period in 2018 by 32.3% and amounted to UAH 409,8.
In the state statistics service reported that in January-April, grants for payment of utility services turned 755,1 thousand households, which is 3.9% less than in January-April of last year. Thus, 50.2% of the applications for subsidy were in the city, and 49.8% of the countryside.
According to state statistics, since the beginning of 2019 grants assigned 946,9 thousand families, which is about 125.4% of the total number who applied for them, and 23.8% higher than in the same period of 2018.
