Measures will be extended to save anthracite.
Emergency measures in the energy sector of Ukraine will be valid until mid-September. This was stated by Minister of energy and coal industry Igor Nasalik during a speech in the Verkhovna Rada on Friday, may 19.
“At present, there are emergency measures in the energy sector, we almost do not work in the anthracite coal group… a Similar situation last almost until the middle of September, which will allow us to purchase coal of the anthracite group. Moreover, the volume decreased in comparison with last year almost doubled,” – said the Minister.
Nasalik said that the consumption of anthracite in Ukraine reduced to the minimum volumes – 3,5-4 thousand tons per day, whereas normally consumed – 22-25 thousand tons.
