The national Commission exercising state regulation in the spheres of energy and communal services in 2018 will increase the price of electricity by almost 16%. This follows from the order of formation of the wholesale market price of electric energy, published on the website of the regulator.
The increase should take place in two stages.
It is planned to increase the wholesale market price from 1 January to 9.5% from 1 April and by another 6.1 percent.
Earlier it was reported that the electricity tariffs in Ukraine are the highest in Europe.
The AMC advises to start importing electricity from economic feasibility.
