Elections in France: the losing candidates urged their constituents to vote for the Macron

Preliminary results of the elections in France indicate the exit in the second round of the Macron and marine Le Pen.

The losing candidates from the Republicans and socialists – the two leading parties in France – urged to vote for the Emmanuel Macron, in the second round of the presidential election.

Socialist Benoit Hamon, who scored about 6% of the vote, said about the need to overcome the “extreme right”. A similar statement was made by françois Fillon from the party “the Republicans”, which gained just under 20% of the votes. He said that other exit, except how to vote for the Macron, voters no, because the front national will do France no good.

“Extremism can bring France only unhappiness and separation. So there is no other choice but to vote against the extreme right. I will vote for Emmanuel Makron. I consider it my duty to say this frankly. You decide what is best for your country and for your children,” said Fillon.

Of course, the support of party leaders does not guarantee the Macron voices of ordinary members of the “Republicans” and the Socialist party.

For the Makron in the second round also going to vote for former Prime Minister Manuel Valls, the current Prime Minister, Bernard Cazeneuve, Minister of foreign Affairs Jean-Marc Ayrault, the popular green politician cécile Duflot, former Prime Minister Alain Juppe, one of the leaders of the Socialist party Jean-Christophe Cambadelis.

We will remind that preliminary results of the elections in France indicate the exit in the second round of the Macron and marine Le Pen of the National front.
