Egypt started issuing electronic visas to Ukrainians

Egyptian e-Visa will cost $ 25.

On 3 December, Egypt has launched a system of issuing electronic visas to enter the country. It is reported by the Department of consular service of the Ministry of foreign Affairs in Facebook.

“Ukrainians will travel to Egypt on the basis of the electronic visa e-Visa. According to the Egyptian side, December 3, 2017 initiated the system of issuing electronic visas for entry into Egypt as an alternative to a visa-which can also be purchased at checkpoints across the state border of Egypt,” the statement says.

For the purpose of issuing visas to citizens of Ukraine who are planning a trip to Egypt with tourist or business purpose and also for the purpose of transit through the territory of the country, can submit online application on official website www.egyptvisa.com within 90 days prior to the planned date of entry.

To obtain an electronic visa, the applicant must have a passport valid for 8 months from the date of arrival in the country, an electronic copy of the passport for download when applying on the website, the documents confirming the purpose and terms of the planned trip, return tickets and Bank card payment.

After filling out the necessary forms and online payment of the visa fee ($25) the applicant receives a copy of the electronic visa via e-mail.

The document must be printed out and upon arrival to present to the border control of Egypt.

To obtain an electronic visa to the children having the separate passport, and served a separate statement.

To issue e-Visa is recommended not less than 7 days before the scheduled trip.
