Egypt launched air strike on the convoy with weapons on the border with Libya

The death toll in the air strikes was not specified.

Egyptian military aircraft attacked 10 vehicles loaded with weapons, ammunition and smuggling on the Western border of Egypt with Libya.

Currently, Egyptian government forces are fighting terrorist group “Islamic state” (ISIS), which until recently was active in the Sinai Peninsula, but has now extended its activity to other parts of Egypt.

“Several criminals gathered and were preparing to penetrate the Egyptian border, using a few four-wheeled vehicles,” – said in a statement the Egyptian army.
