When ordering a package from AliExpress, even with paid shipping, you never know whether it will be tracked along the way or just to the border of China and Russia. In the near future, as promised “Mail of Russia”, it will be possible to track each package without exception.
Reported to AliExpress and “Mail of Russia” agreed on the establishment and implementation of the new system of marking items, now each item will be accompanied by a bar-code, which will be used for tracking. In other words, it is theoretically possible to find the place where the parcel instead of a smartphone or laptop put rocks or boards, as is often the case in the “Mail of Russia”. According to official information, the new system of tracking of parcels will be implemented in the “Mail of Russia” already on August 10 this year, and, in fact, it’s not as good as it might seem at first glance.
If you remember, the 7th of February this year, AliExpress has changed the rules of shipping and delivery of goods to Russia associated with tracking, and this has led to the emergence of surcharge even for small packages cost less than 2 dollars. Of course, integration of new tracking systems can also lead to a rise in the cost of delivery, and in this case, buying in China, waiting a month might even be more expensive in comparison with acquiring the same goods on the territory of Russia.
