Dzhemilev: Crimea could become a desert Peninsula

The MP rejected the military option is the return of the Crimea.

The military way is the return of the Crimea will entail ethnic cleansing and make it uninhabitable. This was stated by one of the leaders of the Crimean Tatar people, MP from the Bloc of Petro Poroshenko Mustafa Dzhemilev, the TV channel 112 Ukraine.

“We very much hope that the sanctions on the occupier will be strengthened and this will force it to leave the occupied territories. Another way, the military, the us now seems hopeless. This will entail ethnic cleansing. And if there will unfold the military action, Crimea could become a desert Peninsula,” – said Dzhemilev.

He also noted that the situation with human rights in the occupied Crimea and the constantly deteriorating, many Crimean Tatars want to leave the Peninsula.

“We barely restrained the people, that they did not leave the Crimea, because this is the strategy of the invaders to the Crimean Tatars left the Crimea. This applies not only to the Crimean Tatars, but also Pro-Ukrainian-minded people,” – said Dzhemilev.
