The messenger Telegram is considering to terminate its business relations with Russia and Iran because of pressure from the regulatory authorities in those countries. This was written by the founder of the company Pavel Durov Telegram in his channel.
“We do not care whether a particular country to hold us harmless to the protection of personal correspondence users. We are always ready to cut all personal and business ties with these countries, so they had no leverage on us,” said the founder of the messenger, Pavel Durov.
He said that its operations may cease, OOO “Telegraph” – a legal entity Telegram in Russia. However, how will this affect the users of the messenger, Durov didn’t specify.
