Mother nature decided to test the strength of the inhabitants of Romania.
Strong thunderstorms with squally winds hit Sunday evening in the city of Timisoara in Western Romania: as a result of floods 8 people were killed and more than 60 received injuries of varying severity, including 6 children.
Earlier in the Inspectorate for emergency situations of Timis County reported five dead and 48 injured, reports the correspondent of UKRINFORM.
The wind speed during the storm reached 100 km per hour.
A few hours earlier Romanian meteorologists warned of orange level of danger of heavy rains with hail, which will be accompanied by Gale-force winds.
