Seasonal restriction for trucks will last from 10:00 to 20:00 during the summer.
Starting from 1 June in Kiev and the region introduced the restriction of movement on highways for trucks heavier than 24 tons.
It is noted that the restriction introduced with the aim of preserving the pavement during a heat wave when the air temperature is above +28. Trucks weighing more than 24 tonnes and load on axle more than 7 tonnes cannot use the public roads in the area from 10:00 to 22:00 hours.
“To educate drivers on this period, roads will be installed temporary traffic signs prohibiting 3.15 “24 t” and 3.16 “7 t” with signs 7.4.4 “10.00-22.00”, and “t +28 ºC”.
During the limitations, drivers can use the available rest areas and Parking, and also Parking at roadside service points.
