Soon Ukrainian drivers will encounter a new form of taxation.
In Ukraine, want to impose environmental tax on vehicles. This was stated by Minister of ecology and natural resources of Ostap, Semerak.
Vehicles pollute about 80% of atmospheric air in the city, said the Minister. This pollution both private and public transport.
“The fuel tax has been successful in the countries of the European Union. There proceeds from him is quite high. The tax is imposed on various types of engines and fuel. I consider it appropriate to revisit the issue of broadening the base for environmental taxation due to the payment of such a tax on transport,” – said the Minister .
The state budget last year received more than 4200000000 UAH from the environmental tax. The largest steel companies in the metallurgical, mining, processing, housing and communal services and fuel and energy complex.
