Ukrainian manufacturer of household appliances NORD moved production of refrigerators in China, reported in a press-service of the company.
As you know, in 2014, the Nord factory in Donetsk has suspended work. All fixed assets were conserved.
“Since the preservation of the plant, we have analyzed dozens of leading production sites in search of a better high-tech production of refrigerators”, – stated in the message.
The company announced that it has opted for Chinese production site of the company Midea.
Meanwhile in Donetsk again ran Donetsk brewery Sarmat, previously under the control of the Corporation Rinat Akhmetov’s SCM.
Group of companies Nord was formerly the largest in Eastern Europe and the CIS manufacturer of household appliances. The headquarters company was located in the city of Donetsk. The number of employees at the beginning of 2014 amounted to more than 3.5 thousand people.
