A new study by staff of the Center of Digestive Health disorder in the United States made a recommendation for treating constipation, which is a very simple solution to this problem.
In particular, experts have advised sitting down on the toilet people put under feet a small bench.
According to scientists, this simply means as the footrest can be an effective way to combat chronic constipation. Sitting on the toilet human footstool helps to make the body in which work on promotion of the digested mass in the colon becomes more active.
Specialists, tests were conducted with the participation of 52 men and women age (average) 29. 30% of them pre-informed the scientists that they regularly have difficulty with defecation, and 44% that they experience in the process of defecation stress, 56% — that is sometimes notice traces of blood on the toilet paper. Subjects were asked to use during trips to the toilet footrest.
In the experiment, the scientists tracked 1,000 cases of the toilet with the purpose of defecation. 700 episodes of the volunteers was used a small bench for feet. The researchers came to the conclusion that this solution is really much easier life to people who are familiar the phenomenon of constipation.
According to them, the use of the footrest resulted in a reduction of time that people spend on going to the toilet, as well as to reduce feelings of stress during bowel movements and better bowel movements.
The experts concluded that the manner of sitting down on a chair, accepted in Western culture, only exacerbates the problem of constipation.
