Doctors explained how dangerous food on the go

What is the danger of a quick snack

Food on the go and fast paced food intake increases the risk of metabolic syndrome, which causes a lot of complications in the body.

A study of scientists from the University of Hiroshima published in the journal Сirculation.

Researchers analyzed the health status and daily habits 1083 volunteers, dividing them into three groups in accordance with their customary speed of food intake.

Five years later, experts again conducted the tests and found that people who are prone to rapid consumption of food, the risk of metabolic syndrome increased by 11.6 percent.

The authors indicate that this syndrome is characterized by such irregularities like insulin resistance, tendency to thrombosis, hypertension and obesity.

Experts say that a slow and conscious food will help to avoid overeating and the body can properly absorb the resulting substance.
