According to the source, HTC U11 Life, also known under the code name Ocean Life, will debut simultaneously with the flagship HTC U11 Plus at a press event on 2 November 2017. It refers to low-cost smartphones, developed jointly with Google on the Android One, is based on stock Android 8.0 “Oreo and supplemented only by Google, without many add-ons from the manufacturer. It can inherit the main highlight of the HTC U11 — touch the frame Edge of Sense, allowing you to interact with the smartphone by simply squeezing the device with your hand.
The smartphone is equipped with 5.2-inch display with a resolution of Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) with protective glass Gorilla Glass, a fingerprint scanner in the home button, a 16-megapixel front and rear cameras.
The hardware is based on Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 630, 32 GB of internal flash memory expandable with cards of the format microSD up to 2 TB. The battery has a capacity of 2600 mAh. The smartphone supports Bluetooth 5.0. We should also mention protection from water and dust according to IP67 standard, which means that you can dive to a depth of 1 meter for half an hour. There is a port USB Type-C, but only USB 2.0.
The HTC U11 Life will be available in white and blue colour options at a price of about 400 euros.
