In USA on 85-m to year of life died Sergey Khrushchev, son of former Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev. This is with reference to the great-granddaughter of Nikita Khrushchev, writes RBC.
Sergei Khrushchev was born in 1935. His mother was Nina Kukharchuk, which Nikita Khrushchev was in a relationship with 1924. The son of a Soviet leader in 1958 graduated from the Moscow power engineering Institute (MPEI), after which he worked in the OKB Chelomei, worked on development of ballistic missiles. In 1963 he became a doctor of technical Sciences, Professor, hero of Socialist labor and Lenin prize laureate.
After Nikita Khrushchev resigned as first Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist party, Sergei Khrushchev was Deputy Director of the Institute of electronic control machines (INEUM), Deputy General Director of “Electronmash”.
In 1991 he moved to the USA where at the invitation of the local University lectures on the history of the cold war. Later, he received a residence permit in the United States and has since lived there, engaged in teaching.
We will add that in January of this year in Moscow at the age of 85 years died, former wife of Sergei Khrushchev noise Galina, whom he divorced before moving to the States.
