Died a famous Ukrainian race car driver

Died Ukrainian driver Yuriy Kochmar, who never recovered after a terrible accident.

Tonight died the Ukrainian athlete, pilot of Odessa Rally Team Yuriy Kochmar.

Kochmar in late summer 2015 hit in Latvia in a terrible accident during the “Kurzeme rally” and was never able afterwards to recover.

Then Kochmar was driving with the Navigator Sergey Koval. At a speed of 160 km/h their car crashed into a tree. After the crash both drivers in serious condition was taken to hospital. Later the pilot was recovered, and the treatment Kochmar continued. He was sent to the Spanish hospital, specializing in patients in a coma. Recently, the Kochmar he regained consciousness, partial memory, he began to speak a little and even tried to walk, but his life was cut short.

During his career, Kochmar had become a prize-winner of national and international races of different levels in Ukraine, and arenas abroad. In addition, Kochmar is a two-time champion of Ukraine on rally.
