One Hyperloop unveiled a list of ten of the regions where the potential to receive high speed vacuum track.
Interestingly, in continental Europe is not planned any route, but in the UK – just two.
All in all, a finalist in the Global Challenge for cities-candidates for the construction of the first route of high-speed transport Hyperloop came out ten projects from five countries: the UK, Mexico, Canada, USA and India. Length of the routes varies from 335 km (between the Indian Bangalore and Chennai), 1.1 thousand km (between Chennai and Mumbai). Most projects include an intermediate station.
In addition to the two routes in India, plans to build a Hyperloop line in the USA on routes Chicago-Columbus-Pittsburgh Dallas-Laredo-Houston, Cheyenne-Denver-Pueblo and Miami-Orlando. In the UK, it is a line Edinburgh-London and Glasgow-Liverpool. For Mexico predlagaetsja the route Mexico-Guadalajara and the Canada – Toronto-Montreal.
Hyperloop is a vacuum trains project, proposed by the American billionaire Elon Musk. At the moment it is not implemented, but the prototype development involved three companies: SpaceX, Hyperloop One and Hyperloop Transportation Technologies.
