Detained swindlers, “selling” the concept of European citizenship

The dealers sold the Ukrainians fake EU citizenship for €8 thousand.

Employees of the security Service of Ukraine stopped in two areas in the West of the country, the activities of illegal centers that were illegally issued to Ukrainians citizens of other countries. About it reports press-the SBU center.

“The police found that the dealers have provided customers and making fake documents, giving the right to apply for a passport of a citizen of some EU countries. Attackers provide customers with a full “package”, including picking up doubles, with knowledge of a foreign language to visit a foreign diplomatic institutions”, – stated in the message.

According to the secret service, the scheme benefited more than thousands of Ukrainians, the cost of a set of forged documents amounted to 8 thousand euros.

During searches at the offices and residence of malefactors field investigators of SBU withdrew nearly one hundred packages of documents for registration of foreign citizenship. Law enforcement officers, in particular, found a fake print of the authorities of the USSR and Ukraine, passports of citizens of other countries, the blank forms of certificates of marriage and marriage.

On this fact opened criminal proceedings under article 358 of the criminal code of Ukraine.
