Spies photographed the Ford Focus hatchback next generation.
The car was noticed on the tests with the serial body, however, much hidden by the camouflage, and interior details that can be seen in the commodity instances.
“Focus,” the fourth generation will be built on a modular platform Ford C2. The model will be roomier than its predecessor: the wheelbase will increase by approximately 50 millimeters, will increase overall length and width, but inside the camp of more space for rear passengers feet.
In addition, the mass of the hatchback is reduced by 50 kilograms, but this is still a preliminary estimate, since the exact values at Ford motor even know.
The engine range is expected to be only supercharged units. The base variants will get a litre petrol three-pointers with a capacity of 100, 125 and 140 horsepower. Also the range will include engines 1.5 and 2.0, the latter of which will equip the “charged” modification ST. In addition, the “Focus” will remain and the electric version.
Family Ford Focus will complement the “all terrain” version with protective kit on the body, made in the same style as the Fiesta is Active.
It is expected that the new “Focus” can show early next year at the motor show in Detroit.
