Ukrainian Ombudsman Lyudmila Denisova appealed to the head of the regional delegation of the International Committee of the red cross in Russia, Belarus and Moldova Magne Bart with a request to visit the Ukrainian prisoners, as well as to assist her in organizing such trips. The Ombudsman said that in view of the situation, she sent Bart a formal letter of request to visit Oleg Sentsov, Alexander Kolchenko, Vladimir Baloga, Stanislaus Cliche and Aleksandra shumkova.
“I asked him to carry out visits to prisons where they serve their sentences, to check their health status and to facilitate the organization of my visits to the citizens of Ukraine”, – said Denisov.
