According to preliminary information, the next Cadillac XTS will be built on the E2XX platform (instead of the current Epsilon II) and will receive a new nine-automatic transmission, which will replace the six-speed unit.
In addition, the model will appear upgraded six-cylinder engine capacity of 3.6 liters. The current model produces 304 force, but on the new machine may be replaced by a motor from the Buick LaCrosse, with a capacity of up to 310 forces. 410-strong unit on the Vsport version will probably remain the same.
Premiere of the new Cadillac XTS will be held this year.
