Declassified the design of the new hybrid Lexus LS

Became known technical characteristics of the hybrid Lexus LS.

British publication Autocar says that the new product will use a multi-stage hybrid system, composed of a 3.8-litre petrol engine with recoil 295 horsepower. It will premiere at the Geneva motor show on March 7.

The main competitor of the car is called the Mercedes-Benz S-Class.

The engine will run together with two electric motors and four-speed automatic transmission. The total power capacity should reach about 360 horsepower. Externally, the novelty will differ from the standard version of the car except for the appropriate markers. The dynamic characteristics are still kept secret.

Also Lexus LS new generation will get a version running on hydrogen fuel cells. It is expected that the car will borrow a number of technologies from hydrogen sedan Toyota Mirai. The novelty will be focused on the use in large cities, where he soon expected tightening of the environmental requirements are: London, Los Angeles, Paris and Tokyo.
