Declassified design “crossway” Mitsubishi

Mitsubishi has crossed the minivan with a crossover.

Company Mitsubishi Motors has announced a new model – “crossway”, which will present to the public in mid-August at the motor show in Jakarta. The name of the car, which is a minivan with design elements from an SUV, not yet reported. It is possible that the machine will call Expander (translated from English – “extender”).

Overall length of new items is 4475 mm, width – 1750 mm, height – 1700 mm. Mitsubishi claim that the model will combine “the comfort and versatility of a minivan with the technical capabilities and characteristics” of the SUV.

On a technical stuffing of “crossway” so far we only know that it will be front-wheel drive car, equipped with a 1.5-liter engine. The motor will be paired with a five-speed manual transmission and Quad “automatic”. Ground clearance – 205 mm.

The news release will establish the new plant of Mitsubishi Motors in Indonesia, located in Bekasi Prefecture, West Java. The Indonesian market model will begin selling in the fall of 2017.
