Declassified a new crossover Range Rover

The British company Land Rover has declassified the new car from the family of Range Rover crossover Velar.

Modern and elegant crossover has found its place in the lineup between the Range Rover Evoque and Range Rover Sport, reported on the official website. According to design Director Gerry McGovern, Velar brings to the lineup a little bit of glamour, sophistication and style while retaining the spirit of sport.

The car received a unique streamline body design that stands out panoramic roof, a new pattern grille and extended rear part. Wheelbase Velar is 287 cm, ground clearance – 210 mm, but this can be increased to 250 mm. it Should be noted that the crossover is equipped with retractable door handles that accentuate the sophisticated design of the car.

Interior design in minimalist style. On the dashboard you can’t see the usual buttons – they were replaced by touch screens and touch panels. A new multimedia system Touch Pro Duo presented a 10-inch screen and is responsible for the management of virtually all systems of the crossover. The seats are made in sports style, with good lateral support and are available in several color and textile options.

The heart of the new Velar became diesel four-cylinder engine capacity of 2.0 liter turbocharged engine, whose power output is 247 BHP in addition, the car can be equipped near the petrol engines, the most powerful of which is turbocharged V6 power 380 HP moreover, the crossover is equipped with eight-speed transmission.

Despite the fact that the car has already been declassified, the public Velar Range Rover will be shown at the Geneva motor show, which starts on 9 March.
