In April, the Ukrainians paid for housing and communal services almost 6.6 billion hryvnia.
The debt of Ukraine’s population for housing and communal services in April 2017 fell by 13.3% compared to the previous month and amounted to 18.8 billion UAH.
According to the State statistics service, in April 2017, the Ukrainians paid almost $ 6.6 billion hryvnia, which, taking into account repayment of debts of previous periods amounted to 117,7% accrued during this month amount.
The most active Ukrainians pay for communal in Kirovohrad (430,2% with account of repayment of debts of previous periods) and Vinnytsia (274,7%). The lowest in Sumy (37,3%) and Ivano-Frankivsk (38.8 per cent) regions.
The average charges for housing and utility services in the country on a one owner account consumption of electricity (150 kWh) APR-2017 decreased by 304,3 hryvnia (or 29.3%) compared with March – to 734,7 thousand UAH.
In the state statistics service added that in January-April of 2017, the Ukrainians concluded a total of 14.8 thousand contracts on repayment of the restructured debt for housing and utility services for a total amount of 80.2 million.
