The cost of the minimum food basket in June rose 6%.

The average cost of the minimum food basket in Ukraine in June rose compared with may, at 57-87 UAH.

“In absolute terms, in June compared to may, the cost of the minimum food basket have risen considerably: for able-bodied persons — UAH 87 (plus 6.0 percent) for disabled persons — 57 UAH (plus 5.1 per cent) “, — stated in the message.

Thus, for able-bodied persons basket value amounted to 1545 UAH, and for persons who lost working capacity — 1184 UAH.

It is noted that the cost of the most expensive are dairy products — 390 UAH (25,2% of the total cost of the basket).

Second position keep meat — 329 UAH (21.3 per cent).

In the third place the cost of a fruit is 210 UAH (13.6 per cent).

Analysts say that costs have in the basket of eggs — by 1.4% and oil and vegetable oil is 1.8%.
