The Austrian artist Thomas Neuwirth stated that it intends to terminate a career in the role of a bearded woman Conchita Wurst and do something else. He told this to reporters during a visit to St. Petersburg on LGBT festival “side by Side”.
Farewell to the image of Conchita, he said, will be “Grand and dramatic”.
“Life is a journey, and I, like all people, are in the process of development. And I have a huge list of things I want to do and try in life. And a large number of these things include the wearing of a wig and false eyelashes,” said Neuwirth.
He added that he is working on a second musical album, Conchita, and then go on tour in the same way.
The current visit to St. Petersburg first for Neuwirth, who in 2014 won the musical contest “Eurovision” in Copenhagen and became a worldwide sensation. The artist has said that he wants to end the way Conchita in February 2017.
