Coal from “LDNR” the quality is not suitable for export

The coal from the occupied territories does not meet the standards.

Coal, which is in the temporarily occupied territories does not meet the standards and requirements of foreign markets.

This was reported by General Director of DTEK Maxim Timchenko.

“The average content of sulphur in Ukrainian anthracite – 1.7%, and in coal brand “T” at 2.6%. Required to export norm – 0.9% and below. In a simple language – the export of this coal is closed,” — said Timchenko.

In addition, Timchenko noted that this coal is considered to be outside the law.

“We have filed criminal proceedings at our facilities. Filed a police report and instituted 11 criminal cases. Will the arrest of the entire movable and immovable property on the list that we gave. This means that the production and export of any products is a criminal offence,” he added.
